If you hold nostalgia for something (especially a video game) it is usually best not to play it again, as it may not be the same as you remembered and it could ruin your memories. But as most people know, nostalgia can be a double-edged sword. the biggest reason for my purchase was the nostalgia factor, as this was my favorite game as a kid. Now, as a 16 year old, I have repurchased a copy for the Xbox 360, 5 years after first experiencing it. As I grew older I've remembered it more and more. And there was one thing that I remembered above everything else: This game had a great story. This game was mature, dark, and gritty for a Spider-Man game, and being an 11 year old who only had a Wii (which is quite limited in it's mature titles), this was something entirely new to me.
